Hilton has launched completely separate rate that is available for those that work in the travel agencies and have applicable credentials. This rate plan is not eligible for points or stay/night credit.
You can access this rate plan on Hilton’s website here:
Here are the rate rules attaches to the reservation for Conrad Bangkok Residences:
Here are the rate rules from the web page:
Offer is valid for Travel Agent personal travel only for stays at participating properties in the Hilton portfolio subject to availability. Valid IATAN photo ID required at check-in. International Travel Agents who do not have IATAN Photo ID must provide valid photo ID at time of check in. Offer must be booked at least 7 Days in advance of stay date with a minimum length of stay of 1 night and a maximum length stay of 7 nights. Offer cannot be combined with any other offer. The exclusive discount rate relates to the hotel’s Best Available Rate which is a specific rate type that varies depending on time of purchase, is unrestricted, non-qualified, and excludes discount or negotiated rates. This Travel Agent offer is NON-COMMISSIONABLE. Additional restrictions may apply.
Conclusion
The rates are hardly discounted for stays in North America (you can likely do better by booking the MVP rate plan – read more here) and earning points in the process but discounts are good elsewhere.
The rate rules are contradictory. The website states that you merely need an ARC number while the website refers to IATA travel agent ID or another form of ID for international agency employees. Also, you can have 7 or 10 continuous stay on this rate plan depending on the location.
